What is Travel Together?

Travel Together is a free app for iPhone, Android and web to plan and enjoy group trips with friends, family or a partner. It keeps the shared day-by-day itinerary, group chat, expense splitting, checklists, documents and trip photos in one place.

 

What is the best app to plan a group trip?

It depends on what you need. If you want itinerary, expenses, chat and documents together instead of five different apps, Travel Together is built exactly for that: every traveller sees and edits the same trip in real time. If you only need to split costs, a dedicated app such as Splitwise or Tricount also works.

 

Is Travel Together free?

Yes, you can download and use the app for free. There is a premium plan, FirstClass, with extra features, and a Business Class plan for travel agencies and creators.

 

How do I invite friends to a trip?

Open the trip, tap "Invite" and share the link on WhatsApp, Telegram or anywhere. People who open the link join the trip after signing up (a few seconds with Google, Apple or email).

 

How do I split travel expenses with Travel Together?

Each traveller logs expenses with who paid and for whom. The app supports multiple currencies and automatically calculates balances — who owes whom — so at the end of the trip one payment per person settles everything.

 

Can AI create my itinerary?

Yes. You can generate an itinerary with AI in the app, import one from a link or a PDF (for example a tour operator's program), or plan it with ChatGPT or Claude and save it straight to your Travel Together account.

 

Can I use Travel Together with ChatGPT or Claude?

Yes. Connect Travel Together to ChatGPT or Claude to have the assistant plan a trip and save it to the app with every stop, see your upcoming trips, add activities and get the invite link for your friends. If you don't have an account, you can create one while connecting.

 

Does it work offline?

Trip documents (tickets, bookings) can be saved for offline use. Syncing chat, expenses and itinerary with others needs a connection; you can also buy a data eSIM for your destination in the app.

 

Which devices does it work on?

iPhone (App Store), Android (Google Play) and the browser at app.traveltogetherapp.com. The same account works everywhere.

 

Which languages are available?

English and Italian.

 

Who can see my trips?

Only the people who take part in the trip. Trips are not public, unless an agency lists its own package in the marketplace.

 

Is Travel Together suitable for travel agencies?

Yes. Agencies, tour operators and travel creators can use it under their own brand (white label), give customers the trip itinerary, documents and chat, manage customers and staff and list their packages.
